It houses the Breitling 01 Manufacture movement, a self-winding mechanical caliber with a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. The movement, visible through the sapphire crystal caseback, operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and incorporates 47 jewels. Its chronograph function offers 1/4th second, 30-minute, and 12-hour counters. The watch features a date display integrated within the dial aperture.

Crafted from stainless steel, the 42mm diameter case measures 15.10mm in thickness and has a lug-to-lug height of 50.50mm. The unidirectional ratcheted bezel provides functionality for timing events, while the screw-locked crown with two gaskets ensures water resistance to a depth of 200 meters (660 feet). A cambered sapphire crystal, glareproofed on both sides, protects the green dial. The watch is fitted with a stainless steel bracelet, 22mm at the lugs, and secures with a deployment clasp.
