At its heart beats the Breitling 01 Manufacture movement, a self-winding mechanical caliber with a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. This intricate mechanism, comprised of 47 jewels, oscillates at 28,800 vibrations per hour to ensure precise timekeeping. The movement drives the watch's functions, including a 1/4th second chronograph with 30-minute and 12-hour totalizers, and a date display presented through a dial aperture.

Encasing this sophisticated movement is an 18k red gold case, further adorned with a diamond-set bezel. The case measures 42.0 mm in diameter and 15.10 mm in thickness, with a height of 50.50 mm from the upper lug tip to the lower lug tip. A cambered sapphire crystal, glareproofed on both sides, protects the cream dial. The watch features a screw-locked crown with two gaskets, contributing to its impressive water resistance of 200 meters (660 feet). A unidirectional, ratcheted bezel adds to the watch's functionality. The caseback is also crafted from sapphire crystal, secured by screws, allowing a view of the intricate movement within.
