Its 41 mm case, crafted from satin-finished and polished steel, houses the BR-CAL.323 caliber, an automatic mechanical movement developed in-house by Bell & Ross. This intricate mechanism, visible through the sapphire case-back, boasts an approximate power reserve of 70 hours, ensuring reliable timekeeping over extended periods. The dial, a minimalist canvas in sunray black, features applique indices filled with Super-LumiNova® for optimal legibility in low-light conditions. Complementing the indices are metal skeletonized hour and minute hands, also filled with Super-LumiNova®, which glide over the dial with precision. A date window at 3 o'clock and a power reserve indicator at 9 o'clock provide added functionality without disrupting the dial's clean aesthetics.

Enhancing its robust nature, the BR-X5 is engineered with a screw-down crown and crown guard, contributing to its water resistance of 100 meters. This makes the timepiece suitable for various activities, from everyday wear to recreational swimming. The watch is fitted with an openworked black rubber strap, offering both comfort and durability.
