A modern icon, it has that audacious, 40mm rose gold case, but it's all softened angles and polished surfaces, not some gaudy, in-your-face bling. DescriptionThe Bell & Ross Reference BR05A-BL-PG/SRB exhibits a case constructed from 18-karat rose gold, achieving a diameter of 40 millimeters. The gold utilized in this timepiece is finished using both satin-brushing and polishing techniques. This case is equipped with a screw-down crown, enhancing its resistance to water ingress, which has been tested up to a depth of 100 meters. The rear of the case incorporates a transparent sapphire crystal window. Integral to this window is the oscillating weight, a component fashioned from 18-karat rose gold and engineered to rotate a full 360 degrees, thus winding the mainspring.

Powering this wristwatch is the BR-CAL.321, a self-winding mechanical movement. The architecture of this movement allows for the presentation of time in hours, minutes, and seconds, in addition to a calendar function. A black sunray dial provides the foundation for the time indication, with numeral and index appliques applied to its surface. These elements are treated with Super-LumiNova®, a luminescent compound that aids visibility under low-light conditions. Protection for the dial is achieved through a sapphire crystal, treated with an anti-reflective coating to minimize glare. The watch is furnished with a black rubber strap, secured by a folding buckle fabricated from 18-karat rose gold, again finished with a combination of satin-brushing and polishing.
