Its heart is the Swiss-made ETA 2836-2 movement, elaborately modified by BALL Watch to create the caliber RR1303-C. This chronometer-certified movement is COSC-rated, meaning it has undergone rigorous testing and meets the highest standards of precision and reliability. The Vanguard's sturdy construction matches its impressive movement. The 40mm case is crafted from lightweight and rust-resistant titanium, and it is secured with a screw-down crown to ensure water resistance up to 200 meters. The unidirectional rotating bezel, made from stainless steel and aluminum, is equipped with Super LumiNova for low-light visibility, and the sapphire crystal is anti-reflective for clarity in any condition.

But the Vanguard's most distinctive feature is its innovative night illumination system. Instead of traditional lume, BALL Watch uses self-powered micro gas tubes filled with tritium gas.
