DescriptionThe Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Self Winding Music Edition 15601BC.YY.D343CA.01 watch is a stunning timepiece that blends avant-garde gemsetting with a design inspired by music. The watch features a 43mm 18-carat white gold case, bezel set with red to blue baguette-cut gemstones, glareproofed sapphire crystal and caseback, and screw-locked crown. The blue aventurine dial with VU meter set with gemstones, white gold applied hour-markers and Royal Oak Offshore hands with luminescent coating, is a standout feature of the watch. The pioneering harmony-cut coloured gemstones adorning the dial evoke a VU meter, while echoing the gemset bezel. The watch is water-resistant up to 100 meters and has a blue rubber strap with 18-carat white gold AP folding clasp and interchangeable strap system. Additional turquoise blue, yellow and green rubber straps are also included.

The watch is powered by the self-winding Calibre 4309 mechanism with 32 jewels and a power reserve of 60 hours. The watch has a thickness of 14.4 mm and features a blue aventurine dial with VU meter set with gemstones, white gold applied hour-markers and Royal Oak Offshore hands with luminescent coating. The watch is a part of the Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Music Edition line, which includes two white gold models in 37 and 43 mm, whose dial and bezel are set with an array of coloured “Harmony”-cut stones. Both versions feature a blue aventurine dial depicting a musical VU meter. The ten colours composing the columns of the equaliser are invisibly set with various gemstones: rubies, peridots, tsavorites, as well as green, blue and orange sapphires. The invisible setting is achieved by delicately incising tiny grooves in the stones, which are then meticulously snapped one by one into a hidden rail, giving the impression that they are holding on their own. An added challenge considering the thinness of the stones used on the dial. Similar coloured stones (rubies, tsavorites, yellow, orange, green and blue sapphires) decorate the bezels of the two white gold models, harmoniously matching the shades of the equaliser. The gemstones also feature the “Harmony” cut – an industry first for larger stones – to echo the dial’s play of light.
