This marriage of complications is housed in a 44.2 mm diameter, 14.1 mm thick 18-carat honey gold case, an exclusive alloy developed by Lange known for its resistance to tarnishing and warm hue. Visible through the sapphire crystal caseback is the manually-wound caliber L043.5, an intricate movement composed of 771 individual parts. The caliber operates at a frequency of 18,000 vibrations per hour and boasts a power reserve of 36 hours.

The ZEITWERK's dial, crafted from solid silver and finished in a sophisticated grey hue, is a masterpiece of legibility and design. The jumping numerals mechanism ensures instantaneous and precise time display, while the decimal minute repeater chimes the time on demand, sounding a low-pitched tone for each elapsed hour, a double tone for each ten-minute interval, and a high-pitched tone for each elapsed minute. Enhancing its functionality is a power reserve indicator, subtly integrated into the dial layout.
